The Silvia PRO is the latest generation of Rancilio dual boiler machines for home. This is a single group espresso machine equipped with digital PID, dual boilers and soft infusion technology.
About Silvia PRO family:
Before describing Silvia PRO as an engineer, you may be wondering what is Dual Boiler? Rancilio Silvia as many other single boiler machines in the market allows you to make espresso and foam milk. However, since there is a single boiler at a single temperature, you cannot foam milk and make espresso at the same time. To switch between these two operation modes you need to change the boiler’s temperature and wait. This can be annoying if you want to make several cups of cappuccino drinks for a group of people. In a dual boiler machine you have two boilers: the coffee boiler and the steam boiler, hence, you will be able to foam milk and make espresso at the same time in addition to have precise control over the brewing temperature of your espresso.
The Silvia Pro is the new espresso machine that provides precision and control over every shot, with limited footprint due to its compact design.
