“Mitad del Corazón” means “Half of the heart” in Spanish. The first time we cupped this coffee was in Peru, in late June 2019. At that time, Juanca, our coffee roaster, wrote in his notes: “nice sweetness, lingering after taste, great for espresso!” Back in Finland, this coffee transmitted us vibrantly the same feelings. It would seem that this bean is giving us clear instructions about how to roast and enjoy it best!
As an espresso, this bean will surprise you with its cleanness and fruity aromas. Despite its medium to high acidity, this espresso is quite pleasant with a delicate and profound sweetness. A beautiful coffee that goes well as an espresso but also it will be also delightful with milk drinks.
This is a truly Peruvian Gem, “half of our heart” is with it.
