Description
This is our first official Ethiopian coffee after several years. We were not happy with many samples till we cupped this coffee. Mesina Kebele is exactly what we have been waiting for: a bean that not only taste great but leaves nice memories on people. 250g
WE SENSE:
Fragances of spiced chocolate, orange, and freshly aromas jumping between strawberry and raspberry. Nicely clean coffee with a bold creamy body, subtle notes of peach, strawberry and milk chocolate. Extremely smooth finish .
- Origin: Guyi, Ethiopia, 1850-2000 masl
- Bean: Heirloom. Drying naturally on raised african beds for 20 days
- Roast: Medium

The coffee starts out with a nice acidity and quickly turns into a berry like sweetness.
I really like the sweet aftertaste that the coffee leaves behind, which lingers for a quite a while after you’ve had the espresso.
I tried the coffee with my moka pot and also as an espresso at the store.
The moka pot (Bialetti brikka) captured a lot of the characteristics of the coffee but the flavours from the espresso were a lot more intense and nuanced.

Great tasting coffee with a pleasing berrylike acidity and an enjoyable aftertaste. I got good results with a v60 with a 1/17 ratio. I didn’t reach a nice clarity i’d probably get in a good café, but i’d say that that is either because my water is a bit hard or my technique is bad 😀
I would say this coffee has very nice potential and can be used to brew some very pleasant cups of coffee! Definitely worth a try.

An amazing smooth coffee with a pleasantly sweet aftertaste. Brewed using a v60 with 1:16 ratio and 88 as temperature, the coffee starts with slight acidic notes, which is followed by a subtle fruity(berries) sweetness.
The flavour v60 last for some time and has a really clean finish. Flavours and taste for espresso are much bolder and stay on for longer.
