Rancilio Rocky is the grinder of choice for many home coffee lovers, specially those ones owning a Rancilio Silvia. The grinder is known to be trustworthy, robust and long-lasting. Being a step-grinder is is quite easy to change the coarseness of the grounds. In theory you can use the grinder for filter coffee as well but you need to be quite careful not to jump between different step positions so radically since the grinder can get stuck. That’s why we recommend to use this grinder only for espresso purpose.
