Last Wednesday we spent some exciting moments in a cold and snowy night unloading some delicious micro-lots from the regions of Puno and Cuzco (Peru). For some members of our team this has been a new experience and something they will remember forever! The beans from these regions are grown in the highlands of the Andes and are famous becauase of its great sweetness and juiciness which fits extremely well to the Finnish palate!

It’s nice to collaborate with new small producers who know the benefits of growing speciality coffees in terms of sustainability and remuneration. ❤️👍

These microlots are scored between 84,5 and 88 quality points. Stay tuned for more updates of these coffee gems!

One of the few valuable things that we rescue from this hectic year is the loving support that we have received from customers like you since this Pandemia started. You clearly showed a warm Finnish affections, to this small roastery, so we can continue flavouring your life with our coffees. We really want to thank you for all this affection and no words can express our gratitude towards you!

It also will stay in our memory those initial times of quarantine when our customers, armed themselves with courage, visited our Cafés in Töölö and Lohja and, hidden behind a request for a cup of coffee or for a bag of beans, they let us know that we will be fine! ❤️

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a New Year with abundance blessings for you and all your loved ones!

COFFEE BRINGS JOY!

Many of our customers are aware of our special connection with our Peruvian friends, the coffee producers of our delicious organic coffee Gran Palomar. We use to visit them during Christmas time. Visits that used to be about performance and planning for the Finnish market have become, across the years, a family visit with no protocols, just a desire to know how they are and have a good rest. 😴

It has been a tradition for us to offer a Christmas breakfast to the producers and their families right after our visit. This year though, because of these pandemic times, we will not be able to travel there but will certainly make sure that the producers and their children will continue enjoying our traditional Christmas Breakfast.

You already are or can be responsible of this joy: 10% of all our coffee sales made via our e-shop between 14.12 & 31.12 will be used to offer a delicious Christmas breakfast to the producers and their families! Feel confident and proud that when purchasing our coffees you are also contributing to lift up the Christmas spirit in the Peruvian jungles!
