This coffee grows in Northern Sumatra, west from Lake Toba. Sumatra Lintong Tobak coffee is cultivated by people who belong to the indigenous tribe of Batak. Batak is a common name to the different ethnic groups living in the northern parts of Sumatra and each group has their own language and way of life. The name Lintong comes from a city Lintong Nahuta where villagers deliver their coffees.
Differing from the rest of Indonesian coffees, this coffee offers you a very clean mouthfeel with a sticky syrup-like mouthfeel and a fruity sweetness. The pleasant mandarin-like acidity with notes of dark chocolate, plums and oriental spices will cheer up your coffee moment!
